The Home Stretch

Here we are, in the bottom of the 9th, and getting set to steal for Korea…or something like that…We got our flights finalized today, finally, out of Chicago at 11:20am, this Saturday, November 21st. We’ll be having a final interview at the Korean Consulate this Wednesday for the finishing touches on our visas and then we should be good to go, and I mean GO!

We’ll be landing 4:30pm local time in Seoul and from there have less that 24 hours before our first class, no time to dilly dally! We’re both excited and scared and looking forward to see what comes our way. All our friends and family have been great in getting us ready and it has been hard to say goodbye, even if only for a year. We will miss you all and hopefully by you all keeping up to date on this blog we can somewhat keep in touch.

Drop us a line anytime and should you happen to for whatever reason be in the neighborhood, as unlikely as that is, stop by, we’ll find room for you somehow. Farewell friends, family, Iowa, and US of A, we will miss you.

~Ian
